12 month contract North York, ON - (Hybrid 1-2 days in office)

TTP has an immediate requirement for a contract Sr. IT Project Manager with Capital Markets experience – details are below:

  • Sr. IT Project Manager required to oversee the application of project management methodology during all phases of the project cycle, with responsibilities that include project design, scope management, cost control, quality and performance reporting.
  • Develop, track and manage project budget, project plans, timelines and scope.
  • Manage project resources including procuring project staff, developing, motivating, and coaching.
  • Partner closely with other members of functional project teams to define business requirements.
  • Lead developers in the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.
  • Define test plans and ensure that products are defect free before User Acceptance Testing.
  • Facilitate the User Acceptance Testing process, developing rollout plans and procedures.
  • Prepare and make presentations to steering committees or project sponsors.
  • Ensure appropriate systems development and project management processes are being utilized.
  • Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications/products and business functions.
  • Previous Capital Markets experience and trial balance/ financial accounting is highly preferred.

Must have Skills:

  • 10 years of Project Management experience.
  • Capital Markets, Investments, or Banking industry experience.
  • Financial accounting, P&L, TB or worked on a similar project.
  • Must have hands-on experience with AGILE project delivery.
  • Must have high quality documentation skills, preparing detailed meeting minutes, project summary, and status update deck and process template files.
  • Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
  • PMP or Scrum Certification is a definite asset.
